An advanced practice based on the idea of the chakras acting as a "coil of energy" in the body. Energy is gathered at the base of the spine, working up through the seven chakras, and out the crown of the head through a combination of breathwork and movement.
A fast-paced style of yoga that's focused on building strength and endurance. It is also an excellent form of yoga for burning calories. Aligning each breath with movement, engaging in a cardio practice.
A passive sequencing that includes a variety of floor-based postures and props to support the body, relax the mind, reduce stress, and loosen tight muscles in the body. Helps with healing the body after vigorous physcial activity.
Use the breath to align the body and mind. You'll develop a stronger mind-body connection and grow in strength and flexibility. This practice can be as simple or challenging as desired.
A slow-paced practice where poses are held for several minutes at a time. This targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. Tune into both the mind and physical sensations of the body; breathing through discomfort and sitting with the mind's thoughts.

Growing up, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to something that not only brought joy to others, but allowed me to feel like my most genuine self. After hitting the lowest point in my life, I was invited by a loved one to attend a yoga class. I had loved it so much and desperately wanted a change in life, so why not try yoga? I was walking into a new fitness hobby to change things up, or so I thought. After learning of the history and philosophy of yoga, understanding the science behind the health benefits, being welcomed into a community with open arms, and feeling my body heal from the inside out; it was nearly impossible not to fall in love with yoga. Since then, it has been my mission to share my journey with others and offer a safe space to start for those who yearn to feel good in their bodies. The only other feeling better than having your mind, body, and spirit connected as one is to feel the unconditional love yoga brings (for yourself and others).
After attending several yoga classes throughout 2019, I continued to follow my passion, leading to me receiving my RYT-200 hour training through Brown Dog Yoga in Huntington, WV. I began teaching at YOGA CLUB at the start of 2021 and have been teaching since, later joining Nightingale Wellness when it opened in December of 2021. I am continuing to learn everyday through reading, teaching, and staying mindful of the present moment everyday. The divine light in me bows to the divine light within you.
